When you come in for therapy at Connected Counseling & Wellness, my aim is to provide you with all the support and tools you need to move towards healing, growth, and flourishing. We’ll work together to help you get unstuck from whatever you are struggling with, and on to your best life. Here's what you can expect when you come to therapy with me:

  1. A supportive relationship you can trust. When you come in for therapy, your well-being is priority #1. During our sessions, we will spend our time exclusively dedicated to your needs and goals. Unlike friends, family, and other people in your world, I truly have no agenda except to help you with your goals. With zero judgement, we will slow down, get curious, and scratch our chins together, as we seek to more deeply understand what’s going on for you. And from that place of understanding, we’ll consider what is truly needed to get you where you really want to go.

  2. A collaborative experience. Here's the thing - you know yourself best. You've been you for your whole life, and have many years of experience on the subject. In our sessions, we'll build upon that expertise, and unearth the wisdom that comes from all those life experiences. What’s more, we’ll work together to build upon that knowledge, by engaging in therapeutic work that creates healing, growth, and real progress towards your goals. Along the way, we'll keep honest and open communication about how the process is going, in order to be sure that therapy is headed in the direction that you most want and need.

  3. A highly personalized approach, grounded in psychological science. You won't find any cookie-cutter, one-size-fits-all solutions here. Because out of all the billions of people on this planet, you are the only one of you who has ever existed. Your therapy experience will honor your uniqueness by seamlessly integrating highly effective therapeutic approaches, grounded in psychological science, and tailored to meet your individual needs, preferences, and goals. As a licensed psychologist with doctoral-level training across multiple specialty areas and evidence-based therapies, rest assured that you will receive the best care possible, personalized just for you.

  4. Extra resources and support. Alongside our therapy sessions, I’ll offer supplementary resources and technologies to support your progress. Depending on your interests and goals, I might recommend self-help books, audiobooks, podcasts, online videos, phone apps, relationship building games, and more. I've also partnered with cutting-edge phone application called "PsychFlex,” which allows me to share customized resources between sessions to support your growth (almost like having a me in your pocket in between every visit). It is my mission to be sure you get the absolute best care possible, in and out of your visits.   5. Therapy “your way.” I understand that everyone has different preferences and needs when it comes to therapy. That's why I offer flexibility in choosing the therapy setting that works best for you. Whether you prefer In-person therapy at my North Austin or Georgetown offices, Online therapy from the comfort of your own home, or even "Walk and Talk" therapy at a local park, I’ve got you covered. Scheduling times are also flexible — in addition to scheduling during regular “business hours” during the week, some weekend and evening timeslots are available for Online therapy visits.
